This elegant 14K yellow gold ring features a 0.65 carat pear shaped citrine centrally positioned as the focal point of an intricate diamond halo. The warm golden hue of the citrine is complemented by the brilliance of the surrounding diamonds and the rich tone of the yellow gold.
The citrine is securely held by three prongs and surrounded by a halo of ten round, brilliant-cut diamonds. Each diamond is individually set within a rhodium-finished prong setting and framed by its own scalloped, half-moon-shaped surround. The scalloped elements are finished with heavy milgrain, creating a richly textured border that enhances the sparkle of the diamonds while adding definition to the intricate design.
The scalloping forms the inner decorative edge of the halo, while the outer perimeter follows the elegant outline of the pear shaped citrine. Notably, virtually every exposed surface of the halo is embellished with milgrain, producing a finely detailed, tactile finish.
The decorative treatment continues onto the shoulders of the ring, where six additional diamonds adorn each side of the band. These twelve accent diamonds are similarly rhodium finished and the band is outlined with milgrain, creating a seamless transition from the elaborate central cluster into the band.
