Product Overview

In 2010, Canada proudly hosted the XXI Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver. Vancouver is the largest city in British Columbia, a place ruled by nature, where one can explore pristine temperate rainforests, sandy beaches and snow-capped mountains, all in the same day. Athletes and sports fans alike will be enchanted by the region's cultural and geographic diversity as they gather in the Olympic Games venues on the shores of suburban Richmond, in Vancouver's cosmopolitan downtown core and north in the mountain resort of Whistler.

The nine 14-karat gold coins of this magnificent set were issued from 2007 to 2009 as part of the lead-up to the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Each coin captures an aspect of Canadiana in selective colourization, and the set comes complete with a handsome black leatherette and velvet display box.
