Discover the beauty of Canadas Atlantic coast with this 2024 $20 fine silver coin. The coin is the third issue in the Royal Canadian Mint's four-part series This is Canada: Wondrous Waters. The series explores the wondrous waters that surround us, from Canada's Pacific shores to our northern waters, and from the eastern seaboard to our southernmost lakes, capturing our coastal terrain and the wildlife that thrives on each coast. Compass elements surround the engraved designs, to highlight the theme of exploring Canada.

The design presents a cliffside view of Canada's Atlantic coast. Designed by artist Bonnie Ross, the sweeping view features two Atlantic puffin pairs in the foreground, while in the background, a lighthouse—an icon of Atlantic Canada's maritime history—is perched atop a rocky cliff and nestled among wind-blown trees. Compass elements form a frame that contains the word "Canada" and a face value of "20 dollars." The obverse features the new effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Canadian artist Steven Rosati.
