This 2024 special-edition one-ounce silver maple leaf coin combines a deep 1.5-mm incuse strike with selective yellow gold plating to give it a warm feeling of radiating sunshine.  The new maple burst background pattern further enhances the dynamic look of the coin, radiating energy and giving the imagery originally designed by Walter Ott a fresh new appearance. The obverse features the posthumous memorial effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt, including the $20 denomination, the 2024 date and the dates of Her Majesty's reign: 1952–2022.
