Known for their captivating optical phenomenon called asterism, genuine star sapphires display a luminous, six-rayed star that shimmers across the surface of the stone when viewed under direct light. This rare effect is caused by fine needle-like inclusions of rutile within the sapphire—an unmistakable hallmark of authenticity and natural formation. Prong-set at the heart of the design, the cabochon-cut star sapphire glows with a velvety depth and celestial light, making it a true centerpiece of distinction. 

Surrounding this ethereal gem is an elaborate swirling halo of diamonds, crafted in an ornate vine-like pattern that flows seamlessly around the stone.
