The Royal Succession Queen to King One-Ounce Fine Silver Coin Barbados

The double effigy on this one-ounce fine silver coin symbolically illustrates the historic transition of the head of the British monarchy from Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II to her eldest son Charles. The Queen is depicted in the foreground, facing right, with His Majesty King Charles III in the same pose in the background.

The image is the work of renowned British artist David Cornell, designer of multiple effigies of the Royal family that have appeared on releases of The Royal Mint. The inscriptions "From Queen to King" and "The Royal Succession" arc above the poignant image on a border which is additionally ornamented with trailing vines blooming with flowers and leaves, along with the year of issue "2022."

The coin has been issued by Barbados and has a limited mintage of 9,999 coins.
